Situated in Ruddington on the edge of Nottingham in the East Midlands, Easthorpe School provides specialist education for 7-16 year olds with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), a diagnosis of ASD, communication and interaction, cognition, and learning needs.
With the target of opening in Autumn 2022 (subject to approval), the school is situated within large private grounds to create a therapeutic environment that enables us to focus on the health and wellbeing of our pupils. We have space for a range of outdoor activities including Forest School and Horticulture. The external grounds feature a multi use sports pitch, sensory trail, conservation area and play equipment. Inside the building we have a number of classrooms and activity rooms to offer many specialised subjects including computing, music, drama and DT to all our pupils.
